Baby Yoga is fun for both Mum & Baby and, like Baby Massage, it has lots of benefits:

  • supports healthy bonding between mum & baby

  • promotes Tummy Time which aids muscle development

  • the use of songs supports good language development

  • movements support body awareness, coordination, balance & rhythm

  • can help support good digestion & help ease trapped wind, colic & constipation

  • can help to relax baby & ease distress

  • may help with sleep patterns

  • can help mum ease back into movement/exercise after pregnancy, aids relaxation & offers opportunity to make new friends

Unlike Baby Massage, where you come for one set of 4 classes, you can return to as many 4-week sets of Baby Yoga Classes as you like… well, until your baby starts crawling, after which you & your little one can move up to a Little Lotus Yoga class.

 

Baby Yoga Classes

For babies aged 12 weeks to crawling

4 Sessions $40 Max number of spaces: 4

Come and learn Baby Yoga with your baby and meet other mums in your area. Baby Yoga is NOT the same as Mum & Baby Yoga, although we will do some yoga stretches for mums during class. Baby Yoga classes include: lots of songs, stretches for baby, some Baby Massage, and some relaxation exercises for mums. This class is baby-led and you can stop to feed, cuddle, change your baby anytime you need.

These classes are held once a week for 4 weeks in Havelock North, New Zealand.
