I’ve read a LOT of business books over the years, and whilst they have all had something to say only a few have really been of value. Here they are:
Chillpreneur by Denise Duffield-Thomas - so many business books are about hustling more, working harder, and seem very masculine in their energy (for me anyway). I often feel exhausted just reading them! Denise’s book offers a refreshing change of pace and is one I know that I’ll return to regularly to ensure I’m chilling out rather than stressing out.
Find Your Voice by Tabby Biddle - knowing why you want to launch a business and what you stand for is vital, as is having the courage to speak up and actually share what you do. Tabby is the best at helping you do this.
She Means Business by Carrie Green - this book takes you step-by-step through setting up and running a business and has lots of valuable advice to get you started.
13 Things Mentally Strong Women Don’t Do by Amy Morin - mindset is everything when it comes to success and if you don’t tackle those old stories and habits it won’t matter how many books you read on systems, marketing, copywriting etc. This book is a gamechanger and full of smack-you-in-the-face statistics about women in the workplace.
