Whether you are a mum or not make this weekend one for pampering and relaxing. Here are some ideas to get you started...
~ Turn off your phone, computer etc. and enjoy a whole day without technology (at the very least turn off any alerts/notifications so you can relax).
~ Start your day with some beautiful stretches. Don’t get caught up in whether you are doing it right just move your body in whatever way feels good. Stretch up, stretch down, breathe into it. If you really like to be guided then this YouTube video by Tara Styles is great.
~ Indulge in a long shower or candle-lit bath and, if you’re feeling very decadent, then why not give yourself a bit of extra special pampering with these three beauty uses for champagne courtesy of Career Girl Daily
~ Enjoy a foot massage and pamper with this fabulous DIY foot scrub by the fabulous Kate Bello and then paint your nails your favourite colour.
~ Spoil yourself with some delicious food, lots of fresh fruit and maybe even a smoothie or juice. My favourite culinary queen right now is Deliciously Ella and her website has tons of great ideas to tempt your tastebuds. Her recipes are all vegetarian, gluten & dairy free so dig in.
~ Curl up with a good book, favourite movie or dive into a pile of magazines.
~ Get outside. Go for a walk in nature. Find a park, wood, beach nearby and enjoy being away from the stresses of everyday life. It’s a no fail way to make you feel more alive and relaxed.
~ Watch the sunset, enjoy the stars in the night sky, count your blessings and get an early night.
Happy pampering to you all.
