“Reading blogs can be a pain in the ass. We created bloglovin´ so you wouldn’t have to visit un-updated blogs, open ten windows in your browser, or forget your favorite blog's web-addresses. With bloglovin´ we wanted to make your blog reading fun and easy."
Yay, for making things easier! And it really does. Creating an account was quick and easy and within moments I was able to 'follow' my favourite blogs and have them all collected together in on place. I am able to search different topics to find new blogs and also get recommendations for new blogs to follow.
As well as being able to log in online I have their app on my iphone which means I can read new posts by my favourite people anytime I like. I love having everything in one place and they have a very handy button for saving your favourite posts (or ones you want to read later) and creating lists to categorise them by. I save lots of time, keep up to date with my favourite bloggers and have also discovered a number of new blogs which is so much fun.
So what are the downsides? Honestly the only one I can think of is just that not everybody is subscribed to it so there are a few bloggers I love who I can't subscribe to.
If you are a blogger I highly recommend creating an account with them which is free and simple. Now I am using them I can't understand why so many bloggers still aren't signed up. Once you have created an account you just carry on blogging as normal as they automatically pick up on new posts and add them to your subscribers feed. Simple. It is a great way for more people to discover you and to keep up with your writing. Win-Win! Bloglovin' you're a bit of a superstar in my opinion.
If you have a blog and are on Bloglovin' let me know as I'd love to follow along with your posts and, whether you are a blogger or blog lover, once you have an account add 'Loving Life After 40' to your favourites so you never miss out on new content.
